I should have listened to my mother’s wisdom earlier in life when she encouraged me to take up yoga. I did so when pregnant with my first child with the intention to nurture us both. After a long break I returned back to yoga to slow down, reduce stress and to discover spiritual guidance. I benefited so much that I was inspired to undertake teaching training with the intention to pass on to others what I had discovered. A place of peace, turning inwards, noticing my breath and finding patience. Quite simply, I fell in love with yoga and the rich spiritual pathway it offers. As I continue to develop my practice, I experience a calmness and feel deeper compassion.
